Front-end or full-body paint protection film?

Film goes where the damage happens. A daily driver takes its worst hits across the front end, so most builds start there and scale up to full coverage where nothing is left exposed.

Coverage is the first decision with film, and it is the one that moves the quote most. The honest way to choose is to map the film to how the car is actually driven and parked, not to a package name.

Start where the highway hits first

The front end — bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors — is what takes stone chips on a daily driver. That is why most builds start there. The ladder runs from the front bumper alone, through partial front and full front, to the entire vehicle; the Build Studio's shield tool shows exactly which panels each level covers.

When full-body coverage earns its cost

Full-body film leaves nothing exposed: doors, quarters, roof and rear take the same protection as the nose. It is the choice for a car whose finish you intend to keep perfect for the long term, for a fresh wrap you want to protect in its entirety, or for a vehicle that lives outside.

Finish options at any coverage

Gloss film is the invisible standard. Matte film turns glossy paint a deep satin-matte with no respray, self-healing all the same. Colour-change film is a new finish on the surface with the factory paint preserved underneath.

Why preparation matters more than coverage

Film preserves whatever surface it is applied over — perfect or flawed. Decontamination and, where needed, paint correction are what make the result worth locking in under the film. Computer-cut patterns are then installed panel by panel, with edges wrapped where the panel allows.

What it lasts and how to keep it

Quality PPF is a long-term installation — the better part of a decade with sensible care — and the self-healing top coat keeps working for the life of the film. Wait the advised period before the first wash, hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo, skip drive-through brushes, and keep pressure-washer jets off edges and seams. Premium films carry multi-year manufacturer warranties against yellowing, cracking and delamination; our installation carries a 6-month craftsmanship warranty.
