Styling & Accents
Blackout accents, painted calipers and refinished wheels — the details that pull a build together.
Brief
Part of Style →The details are the difference between a car that's been modified and one that's been considered.
Styling is what separates a car that's been worked on from a car that's been considered. It's the layer of small decisions — brightwork gone matte, a caliper picked out in the right red, wheels refinished instead of replaced, a headliner full of stars — that make a build read as intentional from every angle.
Mekina Studios treats accents as part of the design, not an afterthought. We plan them alongside a wrap or a fresh detail so colors, finishes and coverage agree with each other, and we install them with the same disassembly-first discipline we use on film and vinyl — clean edges, no overspray, nothing that has to be hidden.
Most accents are reversible or serviceable: wraps and films come off, painted calipers can be redone, refinished wheels can be recoated. It's a way to personalise the car now without closing off options later.

- Planned alongside wraps and detailing for a coherent look
- Installed disassembly-first — clean edges, no overspray
Longevity & care
Longevity depends on the accent: wrapped brightwork and accent wraps follow vinyl care and last for years; refinished wheels and calipers hold up to daily use with sensible washing; interior touches like starlight headliners are effectively permanent. We match each finish to how the car is used.
- Hand wash accents and wrapped brightwork — skip stiff brushes
- Keep wheel cleaners pH-neutral to protect refinished faces and calipers
- Clear brake dust regularly so caliper color stays true
- Treat accent wraps like any wrap — avoid pressure-washing edges
Our process
- 01
Styling consultation
We map which accents you want against the body color, wheels and finish so everything agrees before any work starts.
- 02
Preparation & disassembly
Parts are removed or masked properly — badges, calipers off the car, wheels off for barrel work — so edges stay clean.
- 03
Finishing & install
Wrapping, refinishing or coating done in a controlled environment, then reassembled and aligned.
- 04
Inspection & handover
A full walkaround together, with care guidance for any finishes that need it.
